Day 31 – Outbrief, Orders, and Practice

Here is a hell of a day. All morning we were in the RECEX waiting room, which is just a bigger class room, and we received our outbrief from the lady that gives our orders to us. These orders allow you to wear the Recruiter Badge, it adds the V4 identifier to our MOS and best of all, it gives you permission to get the hell out of your current job. This is a plus for me!

Anyways, once we were done with our outbriefs, at about 1100 hours, we did a small practice for our graduation ceremony. It only took about an hour or so. So that was not all that bad. We were released to go to lunch and at 1330 hours, we had to make a meet at the CIF place to get our newly issued ACUs. We were authorized two pairs of ACUs, one pair of boots, two t-shirts, and a ACU cap. Hot shit. I didn’t have to buy anything this time around. That was our day.

Tomorrow is the day we have been waiting for. We actually graduate at 1030 hours. Tomorrow will be the last day of me posting anything else in this wonderful blog. Until then, stay safe. This is Casey Roberts reporting.
