Day 29 – RECEX Interviews

The second day from hell as I have heard some put it. The telephone calls are all completed. Now if somebody was unable to conduct the first phone call successfully, they might have had to do it again this morning. But, as far as I know, we only had a few casualities on this task. All who became a casualty were able to recover and receive a GO from the evaluator. Nobody permanently failed this mission. ALL GOs! HOOAH!

Our interview took place at 1300 hours and we had all GOs first time around. The pucker factor was huge. But, in time and after you got to know the environment, you will get comfortable. You will then relax a little. We started the interview, as I said, 1300 hours, and we were not complete until 1630 hours. There were three people in our group and everybody did their interview in about forty-five minutes to an hour. Everything worked out. Our evaluator was hilarious. Serious but hilarious. I like this. This is one of the major things I noticed in the Recruiting Command! I noticed that all the Recruiters had what we call PERSONALITY! These people had HUMOR. These people also had an OPEN-MIND and great IPC SKILLS! All of these things put together create an awesome recruiter. One day, I shall be one. Until next time folks, this is Casey Roberts resporting.
